So by now, if you’ve been following the flow above, your email list is GROWING!

This is awesome news ….

But now what!?

Time to sit back and wait for your new subscribers to sign up for your program?

Umm…. please no.

This is the time when the GOOD stuff really begins.

But this is also the point where MOST people drop the ball.

They work so hard to get people on their list, but then don’t have a real strategy to convert their prospects into paying clients.

Or even worse, they just completely forget about their list or only email when they have a program or something to sell.

This just doesn’t fly anymore.

Having a new subscriber on your email list means you’ve got a chance to build a deeper relationship with them ….
So they trust you enough to take the next step in their journey with you.

In other words …. HIRE YOU as their coach/mentor/trainer.

You do that by creating impactful content that connects and INSPIRES them to move forward toward goals.

They need to feel like their goals ARE achievable … and that you’re the one to help them get there.

When you’re writing your email nurture and follow-up content, remember:

  • It’s about THEM (and not about you).
  • Pretend like you’re talking to ONE person, not your entire list.
  • Don’t be afraid to talk about their pain points, challenges, and struggles.
  • Show them the “what” not the “how.”
  • Write content that if YOU were your ideal prospect, you would actually want to read it.
  • Make it easy to read. Short sentences, lots of white space, and at a 4th reading level (check out the Hemingway app).
  • Pepper in social proof (reviews/testimonials) that you know how to get RESULTS.

And even MORE importantly, your emails should be strategically designed to get your prospects to jump off the fence and take that next step WITH YOU towards their goals. (CTA or call-to-action)

What EXACTLY do you want them to do next?

Set up a success session call? Join your Facebook group? Come in for a free workout? Book a complimentary assessment? etc.

Your “next step” should make sense for your overall conversion flow … and align with the experience you want your prospects to have on their way to becoming a client.

Once you’ve got your strategy in place, you keep this process up week in, and week out…

Emailing at LEAST 1-2 times a week for the best results.

I know this can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be.

This is a process that evolves over time, as your business grows and changes.

But what doesn’t change is providing VALUE and INSPIRATION to your followers.
