This Nets A 4,200% ROI

I don’t care what you’ve heard: email is NOT dead.

Quite the opposite, actually.

In 2019, the average ROI was $42 for every dollar spent on email marketing – or 4,200%!!!

That’s a mic drop moment.

If you don’t have a system for building and serving your email subscriber list, you’re doing your business a MAJOR disservice.

Email is SO IMPORTANT to the health and wellness of your business, that I am going to take a deep dive into what’s working NOW … in 2021.

You already know the basics of how to build your email list so you can turn it into a revenue-generating machine. (I’ve got some killer tips over the next couple of weeks.)

Step #1: Create an irresistible “freebie” that will attract your ideal clients.

Step #2: Give them that freebie in exchange for their email address.

Step #3: Consistently send fresh, valuable, and entertaining emails so they get to know, love, and trust you.

Step #4: Convert those subscribers into paying clients – where you can REALLY help them transform their life.

And as you do this, you’ll do it in a way that aligns with your message and is true to YOU and YOUR BUSINESS.

It can be a lot of work to do it consistently … but this is one of those things that create real LEVERAGE in your business.

And because writing emails (like this one!) takes a lot of time and mental energy, it’s one of those things that tends to drop like a hot potato to the bottom of your to-do list – DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN!

It can also be tempting to rely solely on social media – DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN EITHER!

Remember: You don’t own your audiences on social media.

But you DO own your email subscriber list.

My top tip for 2021 is not to focus on the SIZE of your list, but the QUALITY.

You want ENGAGED followers – people with an interest in what you offer. This is why it’s important to be intentional about your messaging … and keep it relatable, and clear.

It’s more about CONNECTION than it is about being everything to everyone. Having 100 subscribers who actually buy your services is better than having 100,000 who don’t.

Check your email stats and do a quick review:

⦿ How many total subscribers do you have?
→ whatever it is, you want this # to grow monthly (with ideal prospects)

⦿ What’s your average open rate?
→ shoot for at LEAST 18-20% open

⦿ How many haven’t opened an email from you in the past 6 months?
→ send a “reengagement” campaign to try to get them engaging with your content again. If they don’t, remove them from your email list.

⦿ Are there certain topics or subject lines that grab the most attention?
→ create more content like that! (as long as it relates to your programs.)

⦿ What percentage of LINK click-throughs do you usually get in your emails?
→ average is around 2.5% (but obviously you’re looking for higher!)

When you know the answers, it’ll help you fine-tune your strategy – and also to set some new goals!
