Are you Talking To The RIGHT Prospects?

Recently inside of Content Club, we released a training about identifying your ideal client avatar, and it got me thinking…

Most business owners — myself included — don’t revisit these “basics” nearly enough.

When we’re knee-deep in the day-to-day, it’s easy to forget that our foundation (the very thing our business is BUILT on!) might need a little tweaking.

It’s completely normal to be a few years into your business and realize you’ve evolved, and so has your target audience.

But if you don’t slow down from time to time and acknowledge those changes?

You might think you have a “marketing problem” or an “offer problem” when you’re really just talking to the wrong people.

If you feel like that’s you, I highly recommend joining the Club and checking out that training.

Even if you’re confident that you’re on the right track, this time of year is a great time to take a step back and reassess…

Because even if YOU haven’t changed, the world changes, markets shift, and of course — people change, too.

So that dream client you were targeting two years ago?

They might be in a different place today with different needs and desires…

Which means you need a new way of talking to them and positioning your offers.

The takeaway here is not to confuse the “basics” with “being basic”.

It’s foundational work that never really ends.

More importantly? Don’t wait until a challenge comes up to revisit this stuff. Your revenue depends on it!
