Last year was rough.
Have you ever seen the movie Groundhog Day where Bill Murray keeps reliving the same day over and over again?
That’s what it felt like…
Especially that part when he tries all sorts of wacky things to try to break the cycle
I’d love to tell you that I immediately did something about it and turned everything around overnight, but the truth is that it was hard to put my finger on it for a while.
Revenue was fine…
The team was fine…
Everything was just… fine.
But I wasn’t happy with “just fine”.
I wanted to be EXCITED again.
But that’s all I knew.
And after some reflection… I realized I was going at it alone for too long.
I hired a coach and joined a mastermind.
Within WEEKS things started to shift.
Not just because I got out of my bubble (although that helped!), but because:
- I started doing the inner work that I had been avoiding
- I started intentionally having more FUN in my life and business
- I started keeping a journal to clear my head on a daily basis
And most importantly, I UPGRADED my vision.
When I got ugly-honest with myself, I knew I had outgrown the goals and values that I had been carrying around for years.
They didn’t excite me anymore…
So I just felt LOST.
I say all of this because I think a lot of us were feeling something similar over the last year or two…
And what I’ve learned, is that the moment when you feel like you want to quit might actually be a sign that it’s time to dream BIGGER.
Life isn’t all about just going through the motions.
Your business should be FUN, FULFILLING, and get you fired up
Sure, it’s not all skittles and rainbows — but it should be worthy of your time.
And you know what the best part is?
YOU get to design it the way you want.
So if your business isn’t checking the boxes you want it to — redesign it so it does!
Because if you’re going to go through all the trouble of building a business, it might as well be one you’re excited about 😉
