Swipe These 10 Client-Survey Questions…

Hope your week is off to a great start! Got something good for ya today…

A few people have reached out asking about survey questions for clients who have completed a transformation challenge.

To me, surveys are ALWAYS a great idea, because there are a lot of things we “think” we know… but we really don’t.

They are great for newbie business owners, because you’ll get a more in-depth look into what your clients really need and how they perceive your program.

But they are especially important for veteran business owners…. because we think we know our clients and market SO well, that we tend to make assumptions and may miss something really important.

If you’re not surveying your clients on a regular basis, I strongly suggest you start!

Since a lot of you are beginning to wrap up your transformation challenges from the New Year, I wanted to share a few post-challenge questions that may help.

You can survey them for FREE by using Survey Monkey or Google Forms.

Plus, you can automate the entire process by setting up emails/Facebook group posts ahead of time, and/or delegating this task to an admin/assistant if you have one.

Sending out a survey, and getting your clients to ANSWER your survey are two completely different things! I found my response rate went way up when I did these things:

Set a deadline! Otherwise they’ll keep putting it off. (give them less than a week)

Offer an incentive for them to get it done — you could raffle off a free training session, water bottle, supplement, etc. to those who participate.

Keep the answers anonymous, because you’re more apt to get honest responses.

What questions should you ask? I found that a mix of ranked, yes/no, and open-ended questions will get the best responses.

The exact questions you ask will depend on your business and clients, but here are some that I found to be super helpful when it came to setting up future challenges:

1. Overall, how would you rank your experience with [INSERT CHALLENGE NAME]? (1-5)

2. If we scored lower than 5, what can we do differently to earn a 5?

3. Did you follow the meal plan for the entire challenge?

4. If you didn’t, what was your biggest obstacle? (No judgment! We want to know so we can help in the future!)

5. What specific results did you achieve during your challenge?

6. Did you find the support system – email messages, Facebook group, coaches – helpful? Why or why not?

7. What was your favorite thing about participating in the challenge?

8. What was the #1 thing you learned through the challenge?

9. Would you recommend this challenge to a friend, co-worker, or family member?

(If you have someone in mind, we’re happy to reach out to them on your behalf.
Enter their name and contact info here: _______ We promise not to harass them. 🙂

We’ll make a friendly contact to let them know about our program and invite them to meet with us. If they end up joining us, you’ll get [INSERT INCENTIVE/REWARD])

You also can ask them questions about their workouts and your instructors, based on how you structured the fitness element of the challenge.

Be sure to let your challengers know how much you appreciate their feedback and that you take their answers seriously.

In just a few days, you’ll have info that will help you make your future challenges even better!

This information-gathering is a critical part of moving your business forward, because it’ll help you tailor your future challenges and messaging to what YOUR clients need and want.

The more you know about your clients, the better you can serve them.

Hope you have an amazing day!
Alicia
