See If You Can Beat Me In This Puzzle….

How about a fun puzzle for you today!? This blew my mind… because I totally got it wrong. Let’s see if you can beat me….

We all know how important it is to be laser-focused in your business (and in your life) if you’re working towards accomplishing something important.

It takes planning … and diligent focus on the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and even yearly tasks and benchmarks you’ve laid out for yourself.

The power of that focus can be pretty amazing – in both positive AND negative ways. (More on that below!)

Well, during Business Mastery, Tony Robbins played a short video that blew my mind… and I think you’re going to love it.

It’s right here on this YouTube link. It’s less than 90 seconds long, and I promise it’ll be worth it!

Go watch the video, play FULL OUT…. and then come back to this post!

Pretty crazy, huh? How did you do?!

I don’t want to give any spoilers for those who kept reading…

Are you a little TOO focused? Or not focused enough? (Seriously, go watch the video if you didn’t!)

See, while being hyper-focused is extremely important, it’s also important not to get TOO focused so that you might miss something big (or even a lot of small things).

If you miss the mark in that video (and total transparency- I absolutely did!!), think about what you also might be “missing” in your business.

Here’s a fix for that single-perspective focus: ASK your clients and tribe for feedback!
Your members are an invaluable source of information because they see what you do from another vantage point.

This is why I am such a HUGE fan of continually surveying members and taking polls. Your clients and members are looking at things from a completely different perspective.

As business owners, we can get so focused on what we think our clients NEED that we miss out on giving them more of what they WANT.

Surveying your clients doesn’t have to be an elaborate or expensive process. You can set up surveys easily for free on Google forms or Survey Monkey.

As for the questions, the more you survey, the more you’ll know which questions you need to ask.

Need some help getting started? Here’s a link to a blog post about post-transformation-contest surveys that I shared earlier this week!

Hope today’s video gave you a laugh, but also shifted your perspective a little bit, too 🙂

Make it a productive day,
Alicia
