Are FB & IG Stories “Optional”? 🤷‍♀️

If there’s anyone who knows how overwhelming social media can be… it’s me.

Before I created a “plug and play” system for myself, I felt all over the place when it came to social media.

So, I know how daunting it is to hear that there’s yet another “thing” you need to do every day to get better results online.

There’s no denying that posting regular Facebook and Instagram stories gives you a MAJOR boost where visibility, connection, and conversion are concerned.

If I’ve already lost you…

By “visibility” — I mean getting seen by NEW potential followers…

By “connection” — I mean increasing the “know, love, trust” factor with your existing audience…

And by “conversion” — I mean turning your followers into PAYING clients.

The thing is, stories are a much more CASUAL kind of post…

Your stories disappear after 24 hours rather than staying on your feed, so they have more of a “spur of the moment” feel to them.

Not only do they come across as more genuine and candid than your regular feed posts…

But stories also help get you SEEN more by your existing followers since they won’t all see you in their feed all the time.

I mentioned in one of my recent emails that lots of people like to flip through stories rather than scroll through their feed…

So if you’re posting a few stories every day, you have more chances to connect.

Stories can be as simple as…

  • Popping on to mention the doors are open to a new challenge and quickly explaining what that means
  • Sharing your favorite lunch
  • Giving a behind-the-scenes look at your workspace
  • Taking your audience shopping at the grocery store
  • Sharing a quick tip

Or even posting a cute photo of your dog!

The point is, stories may seem like just another “to do” on your list…

But they’re an amazing way to stay top of mind with your audience.

Most experts recommend 5-10 per day…

But heck, if you can do 3, that’s great!

So my challenge for you today?

Go post at least 3 stories and have fun with it! You almost can’t go wrong 🙂

Make it an amazing day,

Alicia 🤩
