Ok, this can be hard for some people to hear.
There’s a good news-bad news part of business growth that very few people talk about.
The “bad news” can literally STOP YOU IN YOUR TRACKS if you’re not ready.
But … good news … since you’re reading this post, chances are you’ll be prepared.
This month I’ve been talking about bottlenecks that get in the way of business growth like:
- Mindset
- Wasting time on “busy” work
- Not having the systems you need in place
- Lack of clarity around where you’re headed
- Continuing to do things you know you should delegate/automate
And clearing out bottlenecks puts you on the fast track to your goals. (Which is GOOD!!)
BUT…my question for you is … are you actually READY for growth?
Will you be able to handle it when it happens?
I can’t even count how many business owners I talk to who go through a surge of growth … and then find themselves treading SO HARD just to keep their heads above water.
They feel overwhelmed.
They wonder what they got themselves into.
And they have to eat-sleep-breathe their business just to maintain the status quo.
It can be exhausting and it leads to burnout. (This is the bad news.)
A big part of scaling (and not losing your sh$$) is ANTICIPATING your growth and PLANNING for it ahead of time.
This is why it’s SO important to have clarity on where you’re headed.
Because when you’re clear on your vision (doesn’t have to be perfect – but it has to be enough to work with!) …
You can be prepared for the “what’s next” and follow your plan …
Rather than spend most of your time putting out dumpster fires.
A big part of this is the “WHO” you’ll need on your team to make it happen.
- Will you need to hire more coaches?
- A virtual assistant?
- A manager?
- An ads agency?
- A client accountability specialist?
- And the list goes on
It’s critical to know this AHEAD of time so you can grow efficiently and with less stress.
This is why one of the things I work with my coaching clients on is to help them create a plan for their growth … mapping out their upcoming “PHASES” for growth.
Then, we identify who they will need on their team to support those different phases…
So they don’t end up DROWNING and getting stuck in fulfilling all of that growth by themselves.
—> If you haven’t taken the time to map out your plan for growth, and WHO you need on your team to help you get there (& how you’re going to hire, pay, train, and retain them!) ….
Then it’s time to block off some time and do the planning.
I promise that if you do, you will save yourself SO much stress in the future.
And if this is something you need help with, I’m getting ready to open up a handful of spots in my coaching program.
It’s a combination of 1-1 and group coaching and is personalized every step of the way for your goals and your life.
If you’re interested in learning more, let’s get a call scheduled to see if it may be a good fit!
