5 Biggest Fails for Client Retention…

Since client retention is a HUGE piece of not only client success, but also your profitability…

I want to dive in a little deeper and unpack a few of the biggest mistakes I see coaches make when it comes to retention.

If you’re not at 95% or higher, you may notice one or more of these things are true for your own business:

#1) You don’t have a clear ascension path forward for your clients

Example #1: Having clients jump from one front-end offer (FEO) to another … to another (instead of signing up clients for your core program after their first FEO).
Example #2: Not having a solid back-end after clients complete your core offer or signature program.

#2) You’re still selling “sessions” rather than “results”

#3) You don’t have a solid new client onboarding system

#4) You’re positioning your front end offer the wrong way

Example: You’re positioning your FEO as the program where they’ll get ALL of the results they need … versus the program where they’ll (yes!) get amazing results, but it’s ALSO just the first step towards reaching and maintaining their larger goals.

#5) You don’t have a scalable process to hold your clients accountable

This is actually a HUGE problem and it’s a big gap I see in a lot of coaching programs.

There’s a lot more we could talk about … for example, a sense of community, progress tracking, creating a “wow” experience, and the list goes on …

But those are a few of the biggest mistakes I see fitness and health coaches make when it comes to retention.

The good news is that ALL of these things can be easily fixed with the right plan in place.

Taking the time now to plug any retention holes will serve you massively in the years to come.

It’s a win-win across the board!
