Feel weird selling to your email list?
Maybe even a little turned-off because you get annoyed by most of the marketing emails in your own inbox?
Understandable!
But here’s a much better way to look at it…
Most people joined your list because they believe YOU can help them (and you can).
So when it does come time to put an offer in front of your audience, it’s just as beneficial for them as it is for you.
It means your leads are finally getting the help they need from your programs, resources, and coaching — which is a total win-win.
In fact, If you can help someone and DON’T offer them the opportunity to help them change their life… you’re doing that person a disservice.
Feels better to think of it that way, right?
So if you’re ready to give your audience what they came for, here are 3 quick (and sleaze-free) ways to start changing more lives and cash in on that goldmine you’re sitting on:
- Run a “Fast Cash” Campaign. These campaigns offer something of immediate value for a very limited time — like a special discount or incredible bonuses bundled together with one of your existing programs. For best results, keep it to just 3-4 days to create urgency.(This works best when you’re following the 80/20 rule (or even 90/10), which means putting out valuable content 80% of the time… earning you the right to pitch 20 to 10% of the time.
- Maximize the Real Estate of Your “P.S.” The P.S. is one of the most-read parts of an email (lots of people scroll right to the bottom first to see what’s going on)… so include a call-to-action (more on CTAs here) in yours when it makes sense. For example, if you send a nurture email about how to manage tight hip flexors and you offer a special mobility program, mention it right in your P.S.
- Leverage Your Email Signature. Your signature is valuable real estate in an email, so be sure to include a link to your offer under your name or somewhere in that area. This makes your most important offers always visible… without you even having to mention them!
Keep in mind that once you start making offers, it’s NORMAL for a few people to unsubscribe here and there.
Just keep track of open rates, conversion rates, and click-throughs to see what’s working and what’s not!
And, keep providing value the other 80-90% of the time, because building that trust is the REAL key to monetizing your email list in the long run.
Make it an amazing day,
Alicia
