The Math Most Coaches Never Do

Get ready…

I was looking at a coach’s “to-do” list a couple of weeks ago.

It was 9. pages. long.

Updating client billing. Fixing their website. Adding an upsell. Creating a client ascension campaign. Setting up Facebook ads for their next offer.

And the list goes on. And on.

And that’s all on top of their normal admin/customer service responsibilities… because they still don’t have anyone in that role yet.

I asked him: “How much would you pay an assistant to do all of this?”

He said: “I can’t afford an assistant.”

And THAT right there, is the trap that kills businesses.

If your goal is to build a business that makes $100k+ a year, your time is worth at least $50 an hour.

When you spend an hour fixing a broken link or messaging clients about a failed payment, you’re not “saving” $15…

You just spent $50 of your time to do a $15 task.

That’s time you could have devoted to GROWING the business.

But instead…

👉 You just “lost” $35 in opportunity cost.

All because you didn’t take the initiative to automate or delegate that task.

Do that for 20 hours a week… you’re effectively burning $2,800 a month. It’s crazy when you do the math.

And if you already have an admin but are STILL doing other tasks you know you know you shouldn’t be doing…

the same math applies.

I think we all have our hands raised for certain tasks like this in our businesses…

The key is how long you allow yourself to keep doing it.

Only YOU can make the decision on where to draw the line…

And when to stop doing the $15 (or $50) per hour tasks and start doing the $500 work.

It’s all right there in front of you…

You just have to make the decision to make the change.

I believe in you,

Alicia

P.S. You can actually automate a LOT more than you think you can (and STILL keep the personalized, high-touch experience!).

Or you can keep doing it all manually and stay exactly where you are.

If you’re ready to fix it, Coach Engine gives you the systems (and coaching) to replace yourself in the day-to-day so your business actually moves without you.
