5 Tips To Improve Your Sales Pages

Back when I wrote my first sales page for my coaching business, I was winging it.

It felt like SO much work, and I was SO lost trying to figure out what to put on the page.

Honestly, it took me YEARS to feel comfortable writing a long-form sales funnel!

I say this because I know writing sales pages is one of the biggest sticking points for other health and fitness coaches…

You started your business because you wanted to change lives, not become a full-time marketer, right?

Still, unless you can afford to have someone writing your sales pages FOR you, you’re going to have to learn how to do it. At least for now.

In the Content Club, we just released a new bonus called the “10X Sales Page Checklist”

So to make it easier for you, I wanted to share a few helpful tips to start thinking about the next time you go to write a sales page.

After EVERY line you write, imagine your ideal client asking, “What’s in it for me?” Every line needs to be intentional and needs to speak directly to their needs, desires, and pain points.

Stick to ONE big promise. This keeps your message clear and makes it easier for your ideal client to understand exactly what they’ll gain by working with you.

Be thinking about their objections. Why WOULDN’T someone want to sign up even if they’re a great fit? What objections other than price might they have?

Don’t worry about the length. The right length for a sales page is however many words it takes — as long as you’re being clear and concise.

Be specific and use words your ideal client would use. When you use words like “journey” or “goals”, what do they actually mean? When you talk to clients in person, what do they actually say they want, and how to do they say it?
Most importantly, you should look back at your sales page when you’re done and ask yourself, “Would I buy this?”

It DOES take some time to get the hang of this…

But when in doubt, come back to these tips and keep refining.

Practice makes perfect!

Make it an amazing day,

Alicia
