A Quick Life + Biz Update

I’ve got a few updates for you — some exciting, some personal, and one that’s a little vulnerable… so let’s dive in:

1. We’ve officially started the location search for our THIRD water project!

Bayo is back on the ground in Nigeria, scouting the perfect location to bring clean, solar-powered water to another 600+ people in need.

Thanks to YOU, our FPE community has already fully funded two clean water sources that now serve over 1,000 Nigerians — and now we’re doing it again.

Keep an eye out for updates!

2. I’m SO excited to welcome all of our amazing new members to Coach Engine!

We’re just getting started with our official launch, and it’s already been incredible to see how coaches are diving in.

Behind the scenes, we’re loading it up with everything you need to grow, scale, and simplify your health or fitness coaching biz…

From plug-and-play funnels and ready-to-send content… to automations and onboarding systems that take the tech off your plate.

You can check it out here if you haven’t yet.

3. On a personal note… Keith and I just celebrated 18 years (yesterday)!

I honestly don’t know where the time went — but I do know this: having him in my life is one of the biggest reasons I’m able to do what I do.

This milestone hit me, and I just wanted to share it with you!

4. A quick behind-the-scenes update (& why I’ve been quiet lately):

The past few months have been tough. Probably the toughest stretch I’ve had in years.

  • I lost my entire content team in December.
  • As you might know, we produce a lot of content every month for The Club — and I had to jump back in full-force (basically juggling 3+ full-time roles while keeping everything else running).
  • Even though I’ve always done the final edits, I was back to writing, creating, designing (my designer was also out on maternity!) and making sure every word that went out was up to par.
  • And then bronchitis knocked me out for a good 6 weeks. (zero stars, do not recommend).

So I had to make a choice:

Show up on social and email like normal, or cut a few corners to keep The Club and Coach Engine running smoothly.

For me, that choice was easy. Clients come first. ALWAYS.

But it meant that my own content would have to take a backseat.

I felt like the cobbler with no shoes — and I know a lot of you can probably relate.

I’m sharing this because I always want to be transparent about what it really looks like to run a business.

We ALL have ups and downs and go through seasons in our businesses. Including me!

So what’s next?

Now that I’m (finally) on the other side of that tunnel, I’ve been reflecting a LOT…

on leadership, burnout, direction… and what really matters most.

And I’ve got a lot I want to share with you — lessons, tools, and insights that I know will help you in your journey, too.

More on that soon.

But for now… thank you for being here.

Thanks for sticking with me — even when I disappeared for a bit (you probably had no idea what was going on!).

And you know what? I’m MORE EXCITED THAN EVER for the next season.

It’s here, but it couldn’t come fast enough

Make it an amazing day,

Alicia
