As a little treat, I’ve got some AI prompts for you and did a deep dive into a few powerful strategies from my conference last week.
NOTE: You’re going to want to save this post
I’ve been secretly playing around with AI since ChatGPT first came out.
I built a nutrition calculator (with code, even though I have no coding experience!), I’ve built GPTs, and I’ve learned a lot of really COOL things by just by being curious.
You can learn a LOT just by experimenting.
And at the conference, I was blown away by seeing how some of the most successful people in the world are using AI to reduce friction and boost efficiency in their business.
Here’s how they were using it:
1. Planning, Ideation, & Content Creation
This is one of the most common ways the average biz owner is using AI— but unless you’ve spent a lot of time training your model and learning how to prompt engineer, there’s still a lot of editing you’ll need to do to get it “publish ready”. If you’ve played around with it, you probably already know this!
(Shameless plug: this is one of the reasons why our client LOVE Content Club so much— because we research, write (in-house, not AI!), edit, and give you publish-ready content to help you attract and convert more clients every month. Oh, and November’s lead magnet is a Meal Prep guide which is )
BUT… if you’ve created your own content or want to make your marketing even better… here’s a really cool prompt I learned:
“Review [content] from the perspective of a prospective buyer. Identify the emotional appeal and point out any elements that might be missing to make a buying decision. Specifically, note any areas where the message could connect more with a buyer’s motivations, desires, or objections.”
2. Have AI Write Your SOPs For You
I’ve been teaching systems for over a decade now. And a “system” is just a fancy word for all the steps you need to take to get something done properly. Writing them by hand can be tedious. A lot of times I’ll create a video demonstrating all of the steps of the process while I talk through it, and then have someone on the team create an SOP from it.
Here’s the hack: film a quick video where you walk through each step of the process, then get it transcribed. Pop the transcription into AI and ask it to structure a clear, step-by-step SOP for you based on your framework. Here’s a quick prompt to get you started!
“Take this transcription and create a clear, step-by-step SOP for [process name]. Ensure each step is actionable and easy to follow, including any necessary tools, timing, or setup details. Structure the SOP as if it’s for a new team member who’s never seen this process before.”
3. Turn AI Into your Mini-Assistant or Customer Service
If you build it the right way, you can train AI to become your mini-assistant, drafting up your customer service emails for you! You can train a GPT with your templates, SOPs, course material, go-to client responses, and other resources that your bot can pull from to create quick, consistent replies.
And… it can do it in your voice, so you just have to skim it, make tweaks, and send it.
4. Turn Your Existing Content into Video Scripts
If you’re sitting on content you’ve got access to or have already written (think blog posts, guides, or checklists), AI can turn it into video scripts for Reels, Lives, or other social media. I’m all about repurposing content that lands — and this strategy makes it EASY.
Here’s a quick prompt to make it easy:
“Take [content] and create a video script with a [motivational/educational] tone that reflects a conversational, approachable style. Start with a compelling hook to draw viewers in, followed by three main points that are clear, actionable, and easy to follow. Conclude with a strong, engaging call-to-action that encourages next steps. Keep the language friendly, relatable, and authentic.”
5. Automate the Tasks You Repeat Every Week
If you’re constantly handling scheduling, sending client reminders, or tracking weekly progress, then automating those tasks can change your life. But sometimes you don’t know where to start or IF it can even be automated.
AI Hack: Ask AI to analyze the tasks you do regularly and to recommend automations. You can even tell it what systems you use and it will research step-by-step directions. (pretty snazzy).
“Analyze my weekly tasks to identify any that could be automated. Let’s start with: scheduling client appointments, sending reminders, and tracking progress. Based on my current systems ([list systems or apps used, e.g., Google Calendar, Slack, or a CRM]), recommend specific automations I could set up. Where possible, provide step-by-step directions on how to implement these automations within my current systems.”
***One Last IMPORTANT Tip*** anything you put into the free or Plus ChatGPT plans will be used to train their model. If you’ve got trade secrets that you don’t want ending up in your competitors content or floating around the internet, you’ll need to upgrade to their Team plan or higher. You can check out their pricing here.
And there ya have it! There are some of the smartest ways to use AI to take things off your plate, so you can focus on what really matters.
There’s so much potential here, and the more you play around with it, the more ways you’ll find to make your life easier.
Make it an amazing day,
Alicia
